Web Accessibility Statement
Collin College is committed to ensuring its digital content complies with current
federal and state accessibility requirements and with the Americans with Disabilities
Act. Compliance requires that a person with a disability be able to acquire the same
information, engage in the same interactions and enjoy the same services as a person
without a disability, and be able to do so in an equally effective manner with substantially
equivalent ease of use.
Web Accessibility Standard
To ensure accessibility, the college strives to must criteria outlined in the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG ) 2.0, Level
AA.
Responsibilities and Resources
Collin College has designated a team to serve as the accessibility coordinators. The coordinators will monitor the college’s compliance with this policy and train web publishers and developers how to make all web pages accessible. The Accessibility Coordinators may grant written requests for exceptions to the standard under appropriate circumstances.
